A trained French painter, Muriel Besnard has a rich artistic career. First a restorer of museum works in Rome, then a painter-copyist in Florence, a designer of ceramic arts in London and a sculptor and creator for publishers of European know-how (Daum, Émaux de Longwy, Lampes Berger, Cristal de Sèvres, …). Trained in the spirit and techniques of Asian arts, Muriel has settled in Brittany since 2003 where she has developed a pictorial approach.
VetrinArte was born from a combination of passion for interior design and decoration, sensitivity for craftsmanship, for beauty and vocation for the web. We put our professionalism and our experience in web marketing at the disposal of artisans in order to create a direct link with their customers. Together, we are creating a modern platform that promotes artisanal know-how and propels it into the digital world.
VetrinArte is a “showcase” of “art”, this name was inspired by a trip to Italy where our team had the spark behind this project.
Our mission is to highlight artisanal creations that we carefully select for their quality, their authenticity, but above all for their unique aesthetic value.
The craftsmen who collaborate with us are personally chosen for the sake of transparency. They produce unique pieces or in limited quantities because the artisanal work is not mass production, each piece is unique, and possibly shows slight variations due to the manual work of the craftsman.
