A teacher in specialized education where he teaches cooking classes, Patrick François has been working with wood for several years.
What started as a way to relax gradually became a way for him to express his creativity.
He first started by making lamps and now creates contemporary paintings in wood.
The freedom that geometric abstraction offers him is a real pleasure for him and he plays with this in order to create new paintings.
His paintings are made from reclaimed wood (old beams, pallets, stakes or new spruce).

He creates his paintings from A to Z, from purchasing the raw materials, designing, sawing, sanding, coloring, gluing, framing, etc.
