Jac, a multidisciplinary artist, embodies a deep fascination for image and sound from a young age. His first wonders arise when faced with kaleidoscopes, sources of infinite images, and the discovery of the conquest of space and the underwater depths. At the age of ten, he discovered photography, thus beginning a journey that would prove to be his first approach to the visual arts.
During his high school years, Jac deepened his knowledge of photography through his studies. Although initially tempted by training in cinema, he ultimately opted for research studies in psychology, while maintaining his love for artistic expression.
At the same time, his passion for music and synthesizers intensifies, leading him to dive into the world of sound and its multiple possibilities. From the 1980s, he integrated the computer as a creative tool, exploring the techniques of random generators, algorithms, and various transformations.

The advent of the first digital cameras marked a turning point in his artistic practice. Jac uses image editing software, opening new doors to his artistic expression.
Alongside his digital work, he began painting, giving life to his first paintings where the sphere became a recurring theme, a symbol of his interest in the universe and the depth of the human soul.
Today, Jac sits at the intersection of reality and symbolism, seeking to merge all of his experiences in the visual and sound arts fields. His personal artistic approach is distinguished by sensitive and innovative creations, questioning the place of man in the contemporary world and the challenges that lie ahead for the future. By constantly pushing the boundaries of artistic expression.
Jac Dedoy describes his work as transdisciplinary, drawing on his varied skills in photography, image processing, drawing, as well as 3D modeling.
But beyond technical mastery, what is most important for him is the ability to tell a story through his compositions.
Jac is particularly fond of the creative process, which he sees as a progressive journey, a “layer by layer” construction, where each element, from framing to textures to lighting, is carefully thought out and chosen. Although his art is anchored in the field of digital arts, it is not limited to the purely digital aspect, integrating real-world elements, textures and light effects.
The artist also explores new media of expression, such as brushed aluminum, plexiglass or canvas, thus offering a diversity of visual and tactile sensations. In particular, aluminum which allows him to play with changing light effects, bringing his works to life under varying angles and light intensities.

From design to print, Jac pays meticulous attention to every step of the creative process, aiming to deliver an immersive and captivating visual experience. This is why its current projects are also moving towards more dynamic formats such as video, video mapping and virtual reality.
Through his works, Jac Dedoy explores a multitude of themes, ranging from the origins of the world to the perception of time and space, including questions about universal concepts or abstract ideas. His interest in materials and textures, marked by the imprint of time, as well as rhythm and movement, is reflected in his creations, inviting the viewer to deep and sensory reflection on the
multiple facets of human existence.
