French painter, Muriel Besnard began her career with several artistic training courses. History of the arts, Conservation and restoration of cultural property, Higher School of Drawing of the city of Paris.

After that, Muriel first flew to Rome to work as a museum restorer before becoming a painter-copyist in Florence. Then she headed to London, where she worked as a designer for ceramic arts. Back in France, she was a sculptor and designer for publishers of European know-how such as Daum, Émaux de Longwy, Lampes Berger, Cristal de Sèvres. Goldsmith of Lyon,… Since 2003, she has devoted herself exclusively to her various pictorial researches and has recently returned to sculpture.

Since 2003, Muriel Besnard has settled in Brittany and has developed a pictorial approach there.

Muriel Besnard's painting is a dreamlike vision of the world. It is a meditative and poetic look. We are invited to share the vision of a primordial mythical universe, limpid and balanced.
